Suzanne Heid, MBA, SMIA

Mr. Skilling has worked in the field of rehabilitation for more than 45 years. Since 1973, he has completed more than 5,000 assessments and has testified as an expert in his field on nearly 500 occasions in state and federal courts.

Between 1982 and 1992, Mr. Skilling was under contract as a Vocational Expert by the Social Security Administration Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, while at the same time providing vocational rehabilitation services to injured workers through private contracts in Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska. In 1993, Mr. Skilling completed a Traumatic Brain Injury Internship at the Regional Epilepsy Center of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Mr. Skilling obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1973 at the University of Washington where his undergraduate major was Psychology. In 1977, he obtained a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation at Seattle University. Mr. Skilling holds national certifications as a Rehabilitation Counselor; a Disability Management Specialist; and a Life Care Planner.

Suzie Heid joined William B. Skilling & Company in 2010 as an Associate. Ms. Heid attended the United States Department of Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California where she started her military career as a Polish and Russian linguist in the U.S. Air Force. While stationed at Royal Air Force Base Mildenhall, UK, Ms. Heid held the highest Top Secret and NATO Secret Security Clearances and served in support of the 1991 Gulf War campaign known as Operation Desert Storm.

Ms. Heid became the Top Personnel Specialist for all United States Air Forces in Europe in 1991 and finished her distinguished military career in 1992 as the Base Career Advisor at RAF Mildenhall, where her duties included advising U.S. Air Force enlisted personnel regarding career options and military vocational training programs. In 1995, she became the Assistant Director of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Texas where she served as a Counselor and Academic Advisor.

Ms. Heid is a graduate of the University of Florida Life Care Planning program. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Business Administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Ms. Heid is also a Board Certified Social Media Intelligence Analyst.
